The first thing I tried was a still life, but everything was glass or metal and I wanted to experiment with color with my new pencils.  So Deb helped me find this vase.  I figured it was way more than I could handle.  But it seems to have worked out quite nicely.

I really like working with pencils.  I think I will also get some pastel pencils and eventually some watercolor pencils.  But, for now I will focus on colored pencils.
